Well, along with our big move, these courses will be offered for the month of August:

Open Water Diver - Starts August 8th.

Advanced Open Water Diver - Starts July 29th, with the dives being completed at the Gilboa Quarry over the August Civic Long Weekend.

Drift Diver Specialty Course - Classroom sessions begin August 5th, and dives in the Niagara River on August 9th. What a blast!!

We will be offering our second Deep Diver Specialty this year in Tobermory on August 15th & 16th.

August will also bring one of our favorite specialties here at Tri-City, Search and Recovery!  Classroom sessions will be held August 10th, & 17th, with the dives at Gulliver’s on August 12th & 19th.

We will be hosting a mid-season EFR course for anyone needing to upgrade or renew their CPR / First Aid certifications on August 31st. This class is also a prerequisite for anyone planning on moving up to the Rescue Diver level.

We needed to expand again to serve our growing dive community better, and so now we have taken over TWO commercial units in a bustling plaza.  We will update the map on our site as soon as possible to give you new directions on how to find us.

Please come in to visit our new HUGE classroom and training facility, as well as our incredible retail store, and enormous gas blending / air fill station!

You’ll have to excuse a little mess while we move, but we will be open for business on August 1st at the new location, and will be revealing the dates for an INCREDIBLE “GRAND OPENING SALE” at that time!

Tri-City Scuba Centre is making advances toward environmental awareness and doing our part by supporting Project Aware with a donation on behalf of every student we certify starting January 1st, 2009. We will also be running an Earth Day Live aboard Blackbeard’s trip where we will be offering the Aware Coral Reef Awareness Certification for participants. There are still a few spots left on the trip and it could be your opportunity to take an Advanced Open water course or the ever popular Night Diver Specialty. That trip will be running in April from the 18th to 24th. We hope to see you there.
